Principal - Barry Donoghue

Barry has worked in the Financial sector for over 20 years. Barrys experience and career has advanced from starting out in branch banking with Permanenttsb to opening his own business in Portlaoise. He has gained valuable experience as a Business Area Development Manager for IFG Mortgages working and advising brokers up and down the country. During this position he had a panel of brokers whom he met and advised on a regular basis in areas relating to mortgages, marketing and insurance. He was then headhunted for a position of Regional Manager with GMC Mortgages nationwide doing a similar role. 

He continued to work with both personal and corporate clients always adhering to a strict code of professionalism. Previous to setting up this business , Donoghue Financial, Barry worked as a Financial Advisor in Campion Insurance Portlaoise. Here he diversified his experience somewhat gathering fantastic knowledge and experience in further areas of Insurance and Financial Services. Barrys main motivation is to help people achieve their own financial goals.  

Barry is married with 3 daughters to keep him busy outside his working arrangements. In the past he has represented Ireland in Gymnastics both as a competitor and as a coach.
